Auntie Lisa’s Italian Cookies

Auntie Lisa’s Italian Cookies

3 cups of flour
2 tsp baking powder
Dash of salt
Sift and set aside

Mix together:
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs

Add 1 cup sugar
3 TBL vanilla extract

Slowly add dry ingredients

Drop by round cookies, bake 350 degrees for 8 min OR make 3 loafs on cookie sheet
(to cut into biscotti style cookies), bake 350 for 20 minutes.

Frost with regular vanilla frosting or confectioners sugar frosting (confections sugar
and water) and sprinkles.

Auntie Lisa’s Peanut Butter Balls

Soften 1 1/2 sticks of butter or margarine
Mix in 18 oz jar peanut butter
1 box confectioners sugar
3 cups rice Krispies

Roll into small balls and place on wax paper on baking sheet; place in fridge

In double boiler melt:
1/4 bar household paraffin wax (Gulf Wax)
1 1/2 bags of semisweet chocolate chips

Cover balls with chocolate.

Place on wax paper on baking sheet and put in fridge until chocolate is cold and hard.

1 cooked and cooled Devil’s Food Cake
1 small box Instant chocolate pudding prepared with milk
1 Large Cool Whip
6 Heath Bars, crushed

Layer: cake, pudding, whipped cream, health in a truffle dish

Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Batter:
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 stick melted butter or margarine
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pt sour cream

Filling:
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c finely chopped nuts

Put all ingredients except sour cream in mixer and blend well.
Add sour cream.
Pour 1/2 batter in grease and floured bundt pan.
Sprinkle with 1/2 filling.
Top with remaining batter.
Sprinkle remaining filling.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes
