I feel like this is the time where you want to set up the view finder and stand back. Each day brings a little something new. I say this because we have planet changes on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday of this week. In some way we have all been waiting for this moment to arrive…..what it means however is anyone’s guess!

Today (Sunday) we are up to our limit in news and yet more keeps coming. Let me ask you do you feel shoved to the edge in some way right now? If so join the crowd as Mars pushes more and more information into our head until it feels like we are going to burst. Good news is Mars goes from information overload Gemini to protection mode Cancer at 12:17 PM. I am not sure whether we will begin to feel relaxed or just different. As our energy shifts we perceive a need to slow down or retreat from the daily grind temporarily. The theme for today may be attempting to gather your wits about you.

Certainly recommend taking a deep breath and allow your perceptions to recalibrate as you feel your way (rather than think your way) through the days ahead. You will have a lot of intense emotion to work with as moon shifts to Scorpio around 6:47 AM on Monday.

Today, Monday 6/5/17, we may first feel like someone has pulled the rug out from under us only to have them hand it back to us for a magic carpet ride later on around7:01 PM. You might want to see what direction that carpet is headed before you hope aboard. It would be easy to go off track now based on good intention but unsound perception or pure assumption.

Tuesday Venus moves into Taurus finally breaking new ground. You might recall Venus spent most of this year from February-June in Aries or Pisces. We can now begin to substantiate our desires and form lasting relationships with our assets, self- worth, or valued partners. We no longer seek new ground as much as solid ground at this time (6/6-7/5).

Later on this same day, around 6:16 PM, Mercury starts to bring new information, connections, and ideas into our life that may have been circulating around us for the past couple of months 4/21-6/6. What was triggered then is decided upon or confirmed now. For some of us this could be new neighborhoods, new work styles or methods, or even new business.

Wednesday I hear “wagons ho” suggesting it’s time to hit the road once again. I guess this would make sense with Moon shifting into Sagittarius around 7:01 PM. Feels like a day where we need to stretch our legs and go see what is out there; experience it for ourselves.

Thursday there is flirty or feisty energy around us coupled with an underlying suspicion of someone’s motives or operating system. Trust may be a theme for today activated by our own inner doubt or uncertainty. Usually the recommendation for navigating this kind of energy is pay attention but today I would suggest staying open to what comes next. Feel like this is a changing tides kind of day. One minute you might feel lifted up then lowered down. Think what happens to a boat in lock while it navigates the canal. It is all about matching levels, intentional adjustments, so you can keep moving ahead.

Friday….drumroll please… Jupiter FINALLY goes direct once again (10:03 AM). This is especially good news for Sagittarius, Pisces, and Libras as Jupiter rules the first two signs and is currently in the last one, Libra.

In reality this is good news and troubling news for all of us. The good news is this energy brings assists from our partners and advisors. The troubling news comes from Jupiter in an odd dance with Neptune (the other Piscean ruler) bringing a certain confusion around truth and illusion. Next week we may come to a breaking point or new reality around this energy but we will continue to feel this influence right through July 5th. In this period we see,” you can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time”. Abraham Lincoln

Last year this energy introduced the snake oil salesman into our life. Now expect “fake news” and deliberate subterfuge to begin to fall apart at the seams. Truth will eventually set you free but our own prejudices or “certainty” can be the thing that stands in the way or even repels truth.

Embrace this period for what is about to be revealed especially next week around 6/14-18. HOWEVER do NOT make big decisions during this period wait for greater awareness to come through 6/21 and after. Ideally I would put a pin in 7/6/17 and after for a time to make VERY important decisions and even then consult a trusted advisor, attorney, or other objective party before moving ahead. Document and have back up in any important verbal decisions or discussions mostly so you can refer back to what was decided.

Saturday moon moves to Capricorn, our feelings become more reserved for the next several days. We are all business and seek more control in some area of our life. If you pay attention to what feels a bit “grave” in your life now you can most likely assess where moon Capricorn is sitting in your natal chart. Sunday I see the image of a dog digging around trying to find that bone it buried a while ago. You may get very, very focused on finding the answer or fixing a lost cause. This isn’t about buried treasure now but resolving an obsession.

Well….here is to interesting times and a sense of faith and purpose returning us to “near normal”. We are being put back on our path but will need some guiding forces along the way as we question our assumptions and doubt ourselves from time to time. Believe it or not this IS the best use of your energy this week. If you are adamant or overly sure that you have it RIGHT I guarantee the Universe will gladly show you were you are WRONG in a week or less. Creep up on the truth and observe it in action; don’t chase it away because it doesn’t fit ino your plans.

Wednesday we come upon the last quarter moon in Capricorn at 5:58 AM. The reality check around the prior new moon from 3/27/17 happens now. What is keeping you from achieving your ambitions at this time? I suspect some of us have some ground work to cover before we can achieve the results we desire. Nothing is quite as easy as we hoped but it also doesn’t have to be that difficult; we just need to give things a bit more time; patience is a virtue. Without the proper groundwork underneath us we are setting ourselves up to fail.

Moon shifts into Aquarius around 6:33 AM shifting our needs from control and security to freedom and detachment. Conversations today may challenge us to seek another perspective or find an alternative approach to our finances or friendships. Take note as they discussions help pave the way for Mercury (planet of communications and work) to back track into Aries tomorrow!

Around 5:28 PM on this same day (4/19/17) Sun moves from impulsive fast acting Aries into charming and a bit slower moving Taurus. Focus shifts from who we are to how we measure our worth via our assets, talents, or personal values.

Thursday, 4/20/17, Mercury retrograde joins up with Sun. This is what we call an interior conjunction and also the turning point for the current Mercury retrograde which started on the 9^th and ends on May 2^nd. We are half way through this cycle and we are now becoming aware of Mercury’s lesson this time around.  What hadn’t we factored in before now around our spontaneous decisions or immediate first impressions? Have we failed to give something or someone enough time to show us what it is truly worth? Have we moved too quickly or with minimal resources? Buying ourselves more time might be a theme today or over the weekend.

The deeper motivations linked to our need for money, power, and influence is something we could obsess about today as Pluto prepares for its annual six-month retrograde beginning at 8:49 AM. Though this energy affects us all it most directly affects those with Sun, Moon, or Rising sign in Capricorn and/or Scorpio. Power and influence based on what you have access to and ambition for will be a theme over the next six months. Our ethics, personal standards, and public image are all in the spotlight especially today.

Mercury moves back into Aries at 1:38 PM today as well. Thursday is quite a busy day astrologically speaking. We may be inclined to try to hold on and disregard any changes that are called for at this time since Mars is apt to be very possessive in the final degree of Taurus. We are less inclined to stick our neck out, more inclined to defend our current position as we like the comfortable rut we find ourselves in. Just remember tomorrow is another day and what we chose to cling to today we may criticize tomorrow.

Early Friday morning around 6:32 AM Mars moves into the sign of Gemini. Those who have Sun, Moon or Rising Sign in this sign will start to feel prodded into action.  From now through June 4^th we can become sharp tongued or overly critical when provoked. We can also become distracted or highly stimulated by new ideas or mental tangents. Our minds become busy and work over time during the next couple of months. Remember though the windbag, dilatant, trickster, and tactician, reside in the dualistic energy of Gemini; there are two sides to every story.

As Venus once again direct moves further into Pisces it again squares off with Saturn. We experienced this same aspect back on April 8 while Venus was retrograde and Saturn was direct. Now the energy is reversed as Saturn is now in retrograde. Here we see more clearly what we are willing to invest in or finally give up on because the cost is too great. Relationship issues evolve beyond a continued lack of faith (in self or other) to possibly shatter old illusions. This could be the time where our inner truth sets us free and apart from old disappointments. What was once hidden in the dark now has come to light in the past several weeks and we have the chance to our reclaim personal boundaries by acknowledging our prior sense of victimization or self-defeat. We can be awfully good at setting ourselves up to fail by undervaluing ourselves and expecting others to find our value for us. If we don’t think we are worth it why should they?

We might find the day is busy and we need to talk about our current feelings. At first this goes ok but as the moon shifts to Pisces around 3:44 PM irritability sets in. We may want to complain about how we are being mistreated or gossip about something or someone. Shifting responsibility off ourselves on to another could be the coping mechanism for the day.  Later in the evening around 10:11 PM it benefits us to get our facts straight and clarify any doubts or confusion around a person or situation that has been affecting us today.

Saturday 4/22/17 we may feel anxious or unsettled in some way. The good news is this won’t last all day, by midafternoon we are in the flow and can tune into our intuition for guidance. A lot of energy has moved and shifted throughout this week. It will take a bit of time to sort everything out but for now we have a better sense of what truly matters to us and what will fulfill us in the long run. We may not get everything we want in this moment but eventually we will move forward in achieving our goals by aligning our self-worth with our greatest opportunities. We are more than we once thought possible and can now see our limitations as illusions we once helped to perpetuate. The Universe wants to give us more but we so often chose to settle for much less.

The greatest challenge we face on Sunday is to honor our greatness but not rush to the finish line too soon. We must stay within the tension of in process vs. complete. There is a path ahead, there is a sequence to follow, and we have all that we need within us. No one can take our place so why rush and possibly burn out before our given time? For the now it is one day at a time, one step at a time, coupled with an awareness that we are, for the present, meant only to keep pace. When the right time comes we will be given free rein; just not yet.

Venus retrograde while actually occurring March 3-April 15 has a much broader spectrum that it covers. You will that matters related to this “event” might still come up around until 5/18 and connect to situations that go as far back as 1/31/17. All the while the Sun is in Taurus from 4/19-5/20 Venus feeds energy to us all. This time it’s about the value perceived and inherent that we place on our own assets, personal property, and interpersonal relationships.  How we make money, how we spend money and what we spend it on will be a great focus over the next four weeks or so.
