School’s out for the summer and now the energy of friends, family, and the community (which not only surrounds us but supports us) takes hold! We have spent a year making new memories. Now we take some time to reflect and relate to all that we have accomplished over the past nine months or more. We are seeking a balance between what we wish to secure or control and what we need for emotional support or comfort during this time of the year.

As we recalibrate our emotional compass we see where we have grown by going a bit further and where we have potentially regressed by playing it a bit too safe. Where exactly are our comfort zones? Have they shifted from last year to this? If you think you know just wait a week or so for the Solar Eclipse on 7/2/19 to stir up new answers and possibly unresolved feelings from the past.

I hear “you didn’t let me go”. For some this might be the realization of the emotional base and repressive energy it can hold over us. Remember that old adage about how you going to keep them down of the farm after they see Paree? This was a song from WWI period (actually 1919) that suggested the farm boys wouldn’t want to return to the farm post war. In some ways we yearn for the call of the foreign experience while at the same time long for the safe and familiar. It’s the pull of the familiar against the growth potential held in the unfamiliar or unknown.

Like a trip to Grandmother’s house we want to go away from home but not too far or just far enough that we don’t lose our bearings. Astrologically this energy is part of what the upcoming Solar Eclipse experience in July is all about! We are all about to take the road from the comfort of home to the growth experience to somewhere beyond the known.

This week we begin to push past the emotional messages into messages of inner strength and self-trust; the first steps on the journey of Cancer to Sagittarius. Until we have confidence, courage, and trust to take the first step out of the door and onto the playground we are held hostage by our fears and emotions. Only when we feel we are safe do we move out and beyond our comfort zones, maturing as we do so.

Sunday 6/23/19 friends and family are the theme for the next couple of days. We may be seeing new connections to our past that have us questioning our certainty or sense of sameness. One of the more difficult lessons of this time is discovering the difference between mental and emotional connection. Just because you can relate well doesn’t mean they are there for the long haul. Fair weather friends could surround us until July 3rd when Venus changes signs. For now enjoy the casual contact but don’t count on a last relationship; it’s all about the moment.

Monday 6/24/19 what makes for a beautiful moment might bring a longing and suffering that things can’t remain that way. This reminds me of the song “I Stayed Too Long at The Fair”. With lines like,” I wanted the music to play on forever” we are reminded of the temporal nature of time. Nothing lasts forever and nothing stays the same. Even our memories have a way of changing over time!

We have a moon change around 10:39PM tonight from the nebulous feelings of Pisces we now emerge into the fire of a new day (Aries).  We are setting our sights on the last quarter moon or the assimilation phase of the moon cycle which started on 6/3/19 in Gemini. This was a time of new interests, ideas, and friendships. Now where do we stand on all this?

Tuesday 6/25/19 last quarter moon arrives at 5:48 AM. Innocence and emotional support are begging for some kind of redefinition or understanding. Our insecurities could give us a hard time today. We may not have noticed that our relationships required so much commitment or obligation until now.  Can we stand on our own without support or have we learned to lean too much on others. This is truly that “Mother I would rather do it myself” kind of time! We move ahead and in the rear view mirror we see our past. The question for today is can one ever really travel beyond their past?

Who with or how you discuss this question might tug upon your roots enough so you can determine whether you can transplant them to firmer ground or leave well enough alone.  Some of us are rooted in earth, some in water, while others in fire, or even air. Astrologically we look upon your fourth house element and moon sign for answers. Emotionally we contemplate where we feel safe enough to be ourselves without looking for dependency or undo support.

Wednesday 6/26/19 we are testing out our theories on the WHO I have become. We may need a certain amount of oxygen to fan the flames. This is best brought through measured doses of inspiration and emotional feedback. Late in the day around 8:20 PM Mercury moves into a bolder more confident messaging. We have an audience now who is ready to listen!

During the day we may have encountered a period of indirect action perhaps even some one attempted to manipulate you or undermine your efforts. If so you might find that you are willing to speak up once Mercury moves into Leo over the next several days. Whatever is being thought or said expect it to come back around during the upcoming Mercury retrograde from 7/7-7/31.

Thursday 6/27/19 isn’t an easy day to gain ground or move ahead. Jealousies and manipulations might cause resentments in relationships. You feel like you are up against a force beyond your control. Take a step back and wait for the resistance to pass. An alternative choice or solution is available by early afternoon. Looking at life in another way can bring new or interesting results.

The moon shifts to steady as she goes Taurus around 9:33 AM. This helps smooth out some of the wrinkles we are experiencing now. Charm and tact help shift our perspective.

During the day Sun moves into the shifting value energy of Uranus around 1:45 PM. In counting our blessings we may come to treasure or appreciate ourselves in a new way. Perhaps we find our hidden or unique talents being valued. Sometimes it takes giving what we have to see what we really have to give!!!

Friday 6/28/19 this is a good day to take off a bit early so you can appreciate the lessons of the week. Personal growth and emotional support are easily seen as the best set of combinations. Learning how to let go and let a person take the lead is part of the nurturing cycle. Though school is out for the summer this is our familiar kind of summer school the one that hinges on emotional growth and inner strength; a time of personal  reflection and redefinition.

Saturday 6/29/19 picture if you will, placing a pendant of the sun around your neck. It is placed upon your chest and slowly it dissolves into heart center. Suddenly that which you seek to take on you have become. This is a day where self-empowerment is acknowledged and understood.

Moon shifts to Gemini around 5:10 PM and we find we can speak from our heart! The only downside to this energy could be getting carried away in enthusiasm. This could rub someone the wrong way or agree to things that we can’t possible carry out in the long run. Take grand promises or pledges with a grain of salt; it’s all good.

Sunday 6/30/19 today is a good day as we head toward the holiday time ahead. Pack it up, pack it in, or leave it be, whatever you do it will all be for the best. Now is the time where we meet each other with good intention.

Some minor frictions or tensions could erupt later in the afternoon but nothing major need come of it. Wisdom guides us to see things from a broader perspective and put things in their place.  Let what needs to be said come to us or through us and the rest can be just so much grist for the mill. Not everything has to be THE great idea or the LAST word on the subject unless we deem it so. Some conversations are best left for another day.

All the best to you in the week ahead! We are open all week and have openings on Saturday. Give us a call or text us at 781-447-3993 to reserve your appointment with either Tom or Nancy.
